     Keith Macksoud issued this press release to highlight the actions that he has taken to increase and update recreational facilities in the Town.  Stated Keith: "Four years ago, I promised my constituents that I would continue with the development of parks and recreational facilities, and I have done so.  By working with the Town Administrator and private businesses, I was able to obtain funding that helped with the construction of the new ball field on Jenckes Hill Road in the Lime Rock District.  This field provides new additional space for our children to participate in organized sports, enhance their physical fitness, and learn sportsmanship."
     Keith also stated that his record on the Council has shown his support of parks and recreational facilities.  "In addition to being personally involved in the acquisition of Camp Meehan, I have also voted in favor of the construction of the new athletic/recreational complex at the Lincoln Middle School, voted in favor of the construction of a new Little League Field and the refurbishing of Lonsdale Park, and voted to award a bid to allow for the designs to refurbish the facilities at Manville Park." 
     "We already have some preliminary drawings and plans to update Lime Acres park, and as these aforementioned projects are completed, I look forward to working with the Administrator, my fellow Councilors, and the residents of my District to operationalize these plans, and create a new and modern recreational facility.
